Join us for a special outdoor celebration of the Mexican tradition of Día de los Niños/Día de los Libros (Children's and Book Day) at the Downtown Library in Parking Lot B. Participate in one of many Casa Circulo Cultural's art workshops! Workshops are: 20 minute, hands-on and open to children 3-5 years old and elementary aged children, and will be first come-first served. Participants must follow San Mateo County Health's COVID-19 Health and safety guidelines. Participants will also pick up a special Día de los Niños grab bag with crafts and books to continue the fun at home! While supplies last. Enjoy our special Día de los Niños pre-recorded online storytime and read-along while you make your own crafts. Our kits are packaged one week before delivery, allowing the kits to "self-isolate". We use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as outlined by San Mateo County Health from packaging to delivery of the kits. This program is supported by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered in California by the State Librarian. |
