Event/Program information |
Due to COVID-19, our yearly Día de los Niños (DIA) events with performers and in-person activities will be modified. This year we will be offering DIA Kits for each child to pick up from their local library during the last week of April (April 25th – May 1st). The kits will include a bilingual learning family activity accompanied by a book, an educational S.T.E.A.M. --related craft, and local resources from community partners. In conjunction we will be talking about Día de los Niños within our storytimes during the week we hand out the DIA Kits to educate children and their families about DIA and the importance of reading – in any language – from a very young age. |
