Leanna Hicks Public Library will present a virtual package entitled Be An Ancient African King or Queen. The package will include a presentation by local historian Jamon Jordan- on ancient African kings and queens, a set of vignettes performed by LHPL staff on the lives of varying kings and queens, and a raffle. Patrons will be encouraged to participate by watching this presentation and then submitting answers for the raffle drawing, to take place at the end of the week. A set of children's books- Africa's Little Kings and Queens from Kunda Kids publishers will be the grand prize. |
