Celebrate Día, Children's Day/Books Day, El Día De Los Niños/El Día De Los Libros on April 27 from 10-2PM. Día is a celebration of the importance of literacy for children of all linguistics and cultural background. Join us for STEAM Activities, and Special Performance from Alicia Roldan & the Homeschool Kidz Spanish Classes, Afrifcan Story Teller Elizabeth Kahura, Alicia Roldan & the Homeschool Kidz Spanish Class, and Lee Young. Special Performances are at: 10:15 AM - Alicia Roldan & the Homeschool Kidz Spanish Classes - sing traditional children's Latin songs. 10:30 AM - African Cultural Stories & Songs with Elizabeth Kahura 12:30 PM - Lee Young, Korean Culture & Traditional Dancing. Diverse books will be on display during the event for patrons to enjoy and check out. |
