Event/Program information |
On April 25th, 2019, the Albert H. Soliz Library along with First Five and other volunteers will be hosting a Dia de los Ninos - Dia de los Libros event. Starting at 4pm we will read specially selected books and offer crafts and painting. First Five will host a series of games (e.g. loteria, bubbles, and corn hole). Volunteers will offer face painting and stamp art craft projects. At approximately 5pm a local dance group will dance the Baile de la Pina. Shortly afterward, a second group will dance the Baile de la China. The program will continue with activities for latecomers and then finish with an encore of one of the dances. Children will earn their drinks and snacks offered by the library and First Five by participating in these activities. |
