We will kick-off Día! on April 26th with the author study of Eric Carle. Each classroom will read a book from Eric Carle, and complete an activity. Storytellings of the following Eric Carle Books are: "The Mixed-Up Chameleon," "Little Cloud," "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See," “Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What Do You Hear/ Oso polar, oso polar, que es ese ruido?” "Have You Seen My Cat?" and "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" Refreshments Will Be Served. We are asking each child to make a book with their family. This book will celebrate your family culture or heritage. Families will get the opportunity to come read the book they have created with their child’s class on Monday, April 30th. When we get excited about books and reading, your children will follow suit. We would appreciate everyone’s involvement in this months fun adventure into literature. |
