Are you up for the Design Squad Challenge? Build the highest Tower of Babel with limited supplies, which nevertheless withstands gale force winds! Youth of any age (and caretakers) will compete in teams to construct the highest tower. The stability of the "engineering project" will be tested in front of a fan. Key for this STEAM activity are good communication skills, and a joy in hands on projects. Maybe participants will even want to try out their skills at other Makerspace actvities at Socorro Public Library. |
