About this site ...
Virtual Reference Adventure: Choose Your Own Experience was designed by Daria Cal, Buff Hirko, and Mary Ross. Inspired by the “Choose Your Own Adventure” books, this self-paced learning experience replaces the Anytime, Anywhere Answers (AAA) curriculum used by Washington libraries between September 2002 and June 2005. See the Trainer Notes for an alternative use of the Virtual Reference Adventure as a group training program.

On each topic page you'll find:

  • Advice for the Trip--Observations from AAA learners and others.
  • Think About--Real-life situations for problem-solving.
  • Ask Yourself--Questions to provoke your thinking.
  • More to Explore--Activities that encourage discovery and reflection.

Throughout the site, a few "surprise" links will take you to danger or to your destination—an inspirational view of virtual reference.
